Users can create content in WordPress using one of two editor modes: the Block Editor and the Classic Editor. The Block Editor is the default in the latest version of WordPress. It allows users to add content as a series of blocks such as paragraphs, headings, images, and more. You can also install additional blocks to expand your toolset. The second mode for editing content is the Classic Editor. It was the default in previous versions of WordPress, and adds content in a single text box with visual editing capabilities.

In the Blocks/Editing module, you will learn how to use the two modes for editing content in WordPress. First, you will learn how to use the Block Editor, which is the default editor in the latest version of WordPress. After learning some of the built-in blocks, you will learn how to add more blocks to the editor. Then, you will learn how to use the Classic Editor.
