In these lessons, you will explore the new features in Adobe Illustrator 2023, including the intertwine tool, quick actions, rotate tool, and substance 3D tools.
We’ll start by looking at the new intertwine tool, which allows you to take multiple shapes and weave them over and under each other on the same layer. This makes creating and editing a weave pattern quick and easy compared to other methods. We’ll also explore the new quick actions in the discovery window. With quick actions, you can quickly add interesting attributes, like a glow effect on text, for example. In addition, with quick actions, you can quickly convert an image into a vector graphic. Another new feature is the ability to rotate the canvas. We will explore how to use the new rotate tool effectively. Later in the course, we’ll discuss the new substance 3D tools and explore additional 3D modeling techniques and material settings.
