Course Description

Unreal Engine has been the industry-standard game development platform for decades. Its newest iteration, Unreal Engine 5, brings with it new features that allow designers an unparalleled degree of freedom and sophistication. This course will take a deeper dive into Unreal Engine 5, exploring many of those new features and how they work.

This course will review the tools in the Viewport panel, Content Drawer, Details Panel and the World outliner, and will prepare students to add more features to their games or product simulations. Learn step-by-step how to enhance landscapes, create levels using shape modeling tools , add blueprint code to actors, work with level streaming and the new World Partition system, import and use Quixel assets, animate camera rigs, and render your levels. By the end of this course, you should have the knowledge and confidence to create more involved and detailed games and/or product simulations.
