In this chapter we will review advanced techniques for designing reports using features such as the Analytics pane to add reference lines to our visualizations, using advanced analytic custom visuals, and scripting R and python visualizations. We also explore the Q&A feature, along with Key Influencers, and the Decomposition tree. We’ll learn a new technique for grouping and binning values to enhance our reporting. And learn how to configure drill through for linking one report page to another and cross report linking. Finally, we’ll learn how to configure mobile reports, use Bookmarks to save our filter configuration, use the Performance Analyzer to understand the performance of visualizations and DAX, and understand increases and decreases within our dataset.
