Microsoft Project provides powerful project management capabilities for planning, prioritizing, and managing projects and project portfolio investments. It can be used by administrators, portfolio managers and viewers, project and resource managers, and team leads and members. This course continues your journey in understanding many advanced features within Microsoft Project. You will learn how to effectively turn on and format project tracking tools like Progress Lines and create custom fields for personalized tracking options. You will also learn to create subprojects within a Master Project file to visually see and track many projects in one view. By the end of this course, you will be able to turn on and format Progress Lines in your Gantt Chart view. You will also be able create Master Projects and manage linked subprojects. Additionally, you will be able to create, edit, and save custom fields and views within the Project application and then share those views and fields with other new projects that you create. Finally, you will become proficient at changing Project application defaults and how to import and export data in and out of the Microsoft Project application. This course will allow you to deepen your understanding of the rich and powerful tools available within this project management application.
