Add even more detail to your three dimensional objects in Blender by learning more about the components that make them up. These lessons start by helping you identify the vertices, edges, and faces which make up 3D objects. We then examine how the number of these segments impact the detail of the object. By selecting each component, you will learn how to manipulate their position, rotation, and size. Next we’ll enter Blender’s Edit Mode, where we’re able to view the vertices, edges, and faces of an object with more detail.
In this module, we take a deep dive into the basic elements of a 3D object and examine how Blender constructs a “mesh” in space. We will take a closer look at the components that make up a 3D object and identify the vertices, edges, and faces that create a mesh in Blender. In Blender’s Edit Mode, we’ll explore detailed tools that allow the creation of unique objects.
This course takes a deep dive into the basic elements of a 3D object in Blender, examining the vertices, edges, and faces that make up a mesh, and exploring Blender's Edit Mode and its detailed tools for creating unique objects.
You will learn to enter and navigate Edit Mode, view the vertices, edges, and faces of an object in more detail, and use detailed tools that allow the creation of unique objects.
It covers skills including 3D Modeling, Blender, Blender 3D (3D Graphics Software), Interactive 3D, Interactive Mode, and Level Editor.
The lessons are Examining a 3D Object, Object Mode vs. Edit Mode, X-ray Mode, and Modifying Vertices, Edges, and Faces.
The course shows how to utilize X-Ray Mode for better selecting in 3D.
