In this lesson, you'll learn about printing documents and print options. Microsoft Word 2021 gives you flexible options when it comes to printing your documents. Here's what Microsoft Word 2021 has to offer. First, I'm going to open up a document. I'm going to open this new brochure 2 document. Now, let's say that I want to print this document. First, I'll click on File and then I'll click on Print. And now we are presented with our print options. First, we have the button that will go ahead and print that document. Here, you can set the amount of copies of documents Under Printer, you can choose which printer you would like to print this document to. Also, if you click on Printer Properties, it will take you to the specific properties of the printer or printers you have installed on your computer. Under setting, we see that we can either print all pages, print selection which is currently grade out. In order to select print selection, you would need to go back to the document, highlight text, come back to this print window and then print selection would become selectable. Print current and page custom print. Also, we have document info. So under that is document info, list of markup, styles auto text entries and key assignments and we also have print markup, only print odd pages and only print even pages. Here under Pages, you can type in which pages you specifically want to print. For instance, if I only wanted pages 1 and 3 I would type in 1, and then 3 and only those two pages would be printed. Next, we have, print on one side, print on both sides, long edge, print on both sides, short edge or manually print on both sides. If you choose print on both sides either here or here, you'll need to have a printer that supports automatic double-sided printing. Otherwise, you would choose manually print on both sides. You can select collated or uncollated. You can choose portrait orientation or landscape orientation. Here, you can choose a paper size whether that's A-4, letter, legal, envelope, 8 X 10 5 x 7, 4 X 7 and so on and so forth. Also you can set custom margins or choose last custom setting, normal, narrow, moderate wide, mirrored, or office 2003 default or choose custom margins to set those margins. Also, you can choose 1 page per sheet, 2 pages per sheet, 4 pages per sheet, 6 pages per sheet 8 pages per sheet, or 16 pages per sheet. You can also scale to paper size. Finally, you can click on Page Setup to view margin options, paper options, layout options, and document grid options. Finally, to navigate between the pages you'll be printing, You can click on next page or previous page. You can also scroll up and down, and finally you can zoom in and out of the document. Please note that some of the options that have appeared in this lesson may or may not appear in your version of Microsoft Word 2021, depending on printers or software that you may or may not have installed on your computer.
