In this video, we will be reviewing publishing a report to Power BI Service or powerbi.com. Let's get started. You can publish a report in Power BI a couple of different ways either through Power BI Desktop or Power BI Service. Let's publish our report using Power BI Desktop first. Before publishing to powerbi.com, you'll wanna ensure that you're signed into powerbi.com from Power BI Desktop. In the upper right-hand corner, we'll click sign in. We'll enter our email address. We'll select our account and now we're ready to begin publishing. We'll go to the home tab and under the share section, we'll click on publish. Here we have the option to publish to our personal workspace. And a personal workspace can be thought of as a personal container or sandbox for reporting dashboards with data sets visible only to you, or we can publish to a teamwork space where the report dashboard and data set is visible to specific people specified on our team. Let's click on my workspace and click select. We'll get a verification here that this report is being published to Power BI and we get a success confirmation that has been published. We'll click got it. And we'll navigate to Power BI Service to validate that that data was published. So I'm gonna click refresh in our browser and we'll navigate to my workspace under the navigation pane. And here, if we click on data set, what we'll see is our data set which includes our tables, relationships, and calculations. And if we click on the report section under the report, we'll see our report pages, including all of our filters. Another way to publish our reports is from Power BI Service. We'll navigate to powerbi.com. We'll click on sign in. We'll select our account and enter our password. Here, we're presented with Power BI Service. If we navigate to the bottom left-hand of the screen, we'll go to click on get data. We'll select under files git and we'll navigate to this local file on our computer and click open. This will import the data set and the report into Power BI Service or powerbi.com. Here, if we expand our workspace, we're presented with four sections, dashboards, reports, workbooks, and data set. If we click on data sets, we'll see all of our tables as well as the relationship and calculations that were brought into the Power BI Service. If we navigate to report, we'll see both of our report pages as well as the filters on each of these reports. This concludes this session on publishing in Power BI. Thank you for watching.
