Social behavior refers to actions you make during interactions with others, whether you’re with friends, family, colleagues, or strangers. Professional behavior refers to interactions that occur in a workplace and in professional settings, such as interactions between coworkers, between subordinates and superiors, or between employees and customers. As social behavior and professional behavior have different expectations, how can you tell what behavior is acceptable and when?
In this course on Social and Professional Behavior, you will learn how to adapt your behavior to best suit your environment. You will explore the different types of social behavior and the various aspects of professional behavior. You’ll also learn about workplace expectations, appropriate workplace conduct, and the process of professional socialization. By the end of this course, you’ll have the knowledge you’ll need to enact positive behaviors in any situation.
