It is through automation that business tools can create the greatest potential for efficiency. In Microsoft 365 Word, form tools can be used together with macros and program controls to create simple to complex forms. Building and using a form within Word supports consistency within an organization and its public-facing documents. Forms can also streamline the process of completing a standardized document. With a combination of fields and form controls, the integrity of a form can be maintained through editing restrictions and password protection.
In these lessons, you will learn to use fields to insert properties, system-generated date codes, and other kinds of information. You’ll also learn to use form controls to automate user input. Then we’ll introduce you to macros and Visual Basic for Applications, and you’ll learn how to use the Visual Basic Editor to make edits to the code generated through the process of recording a macro.
