Is your workplace ethical? Do you and your coworkers contribute to an ethical workplace? Ethical workplaces have many benefits, including improved productivity, greater customer satisfaction, and higher morale. This course covers two resources that help ethical behavior in the workplace: corporate codes of conduct and corporate values. You’ll also learn about being considerate of your coworkers, taking responsibility for your actions, and how to determine your own core values.
These ethical practices can help you contribute to a respectful and professional workplace. It’s also important that you’re able to identify and avoid unethical behaviors that could occur at work. This course will also cover some common unethical behaviors you might encounter, like theft, discrimination, and workplace politics. You’ll learn about creating a personal ethics action plan to help you identify and avoid these behaviors. This course also covers other issues that may not be seen as unethical but can negatively affect the workplace, like gossiping or bullying. Unethical behavior can have larger consequences for your company, impacting its reputation or overall success.
