Hello, this is Ali Green, and in this lesson, we're going to explore Power Automate. Now whenever we're talking about Power Automate, we're talking about a program where we can use to create a process and a flow, and a flow will allow us to do things automatically. So for example, if we send out an email, we get a reminder and teams that an email has been sent out. Also, if we save a file to a specific folder, we'll get a message that that file will save to that folder. So we're in our Office 365, and we want to navigate over to our Power Automate. So we'll come on over to left, and we'll click on our waffle at the top, our application launcher, and we have all of our different applications listed. So we're looking for our Power Automate. Now if we don't see it, we'll come down to the bottom, and we'll click on all apps. And under all apps, we'll scroll down, and we're looking for Power Automate. So there's our Power Automate right there. We're going to click on Power Automate, and it's going to open up as a separate tab at the top. There's our Power Automate. So we're in Power Automate, and on the left, we have our various options we can choose from. So home, any approvals for our flow, my flows create templates, connectors, our data, our monitor, our AI builder, process advisor, solutions, and learn. So we're on our home page, and on the right and in the middle, we can easily create our flow. Okay. And as we said before, our flow is an automation process that we create to handle various tasks within the Microsoft environment. So we have our create button, which is here, we're going to click on create, and this will allow us to choose from our different flows. Now we can start from a blank flow where we have automated flow from the cloud, instant flow from the crowd, scheduled cloud flow, and also any desktop flow, and also any process advisor. We're going to work our way back over to home. We'll click on home, and that's going to be an easy way for us to start our flow. Now if we scroll down, we have our lessons for every level. So there's videos that accompany the website where we can watch these videos and get a quick easy idea of steps for the flow. And if we scroll down further, we'll see what's new and the updates that have been made to our Microsoft application, we're going to work over to the left and click on approvals. So if we need approvals for our flow, if we've received any approvals, if we sent any approvals, if there's a history of anything that was sent, then it's going to come up under history. We're going to click on received, come back over to the left, and click on our flows. And under our flows, these are flows and automations that have already been created, and this is where they live. So we have our cloud flows and underneath, when a file is created, we'll create a team. Also we'll forward our emails to a channel and Microsoft Teams, and that's on the cloud. We also have desktop flows. So if we create a desktop flow, this is mainly going to be for our desktop applications and also any flows that have been shared with us. And under shared with us, we can see different examples of flows. So follow up on the message, we can schedule a reply, we can save a message to one note, we can create a planner task, we can also forward emails to a channel, we can notify a team when a planner task changes. And we can also forward emails to a channel, find a meeting time for our sender, and that's going to be flows and flows we can create, come on over to left, we'll click on create. And we'll start out with our flows. As we viewed before, we have our automated cloud flow, and we also have our instant cloud flow. So if we click on our automated cloud flow, we can walk through our steps to create our flow. So we can name our flow at the top, we can choose our triggers, and underneath we have our various triggers when the item is created, and SharePoint, also when an item is created or modified in SharePoint, when a file is created in SharePoint, when a file is created for one drive. So if you select that, and we hit create, we get our steps, and we can simply create our steps. So we have our folder, we can click inside of the folder, come on over to the right and click on your folder, and we can choose the root folder. And from there, we can make another step. So we'll put in our next step, and we can choose an application that will pop up. So when a folder is created in that program, what else do we want to happen? So perhaps we want to send out an email, we want to go to Excel online, we want to go to our AI builder, and we also have various actions we can choose from at the bottom. So the beauty of our flows and power automated is that we don't have to know any code. So we can create our various flows as we go. We can get to a row on a worksheet, a list of worksheets, and we have various options we can choose from. We're going to come on over to the left, and we'll click on templates. And we're not too worried about our flow, we're going to click on OK, we'll click on templates, and under templates, this is going to make it easier for us to choose which particular templates we'd want to use. So we can keep our schoolwork in sync with our Google Drive, we can send Gmail attachments to our Dropbox folder, we can save attachments from Outlook to Dropbox, and we can also run flows on Power BI, as well as Azure, and as well as other applications. Now for us, the applications that's going to be most important is our Microsoft Visio. If we scroll up, we'll see here that we have all of our templates, we have our top picks for our flows, we have anything that's been shared with us, if nothing's been shared with us, that's fine, you can scroll down, you can still see other options that you have. We also have options for remote work, any sort of approvals, any buttons we'd want to create, and also anything Microsoft Visio, where we have our various templates we can choose from and Visio, and we also have data collection, email, and calendar. And these are all quick and easy ways for us to set up our flows. So we can come on over to the left, any sort of connections that we have associated with our Power Automate will show up, we also have our data, we have our connections, and on our connections, we have our various third party apps that we can search for, and we also have our Microsoft apps that we can utilize within our flow. And if we come on over to the left, we also have data, which include our tables, and that's going to open up an extra tab, and we have our connections, custom connectors, we have our monitor, and we also have our AI builder. And these are part of our Power Automate. So in review, we wanted to just get a fill for the Power Automate environment. We went through our options on the left, our home, our approvals, my flows, create templates. We also clicked on Create, just to see a sample of a flow. And we reviewed underneath to see which videos are available for us to stay up on our knowledge and our understanding of our Power Automate. And there it is. This is our Power Automate. Thank you guys for watching, and I'll see you in the next lesson.
