Hello, my name is Kiwanah, in these lessons you will learn about advanced graphics. In this lesson, we will review how to insert tables, smart art advanced graphics in Outlook 365-2023 version. When creating email communication quite often, you might have a large amount of text that could be boring for your recipients to review. You can create graphics to enhance the visual appeal of the communication that you are sharing in your email message. One of the graphics that can be used are tables. Tables provide an opportunity for you to display numbers and text to enhance the connection, collaboration and understanding of the information. To insert a table, you will go to the Insert tab when composing a new message, and you have the option of clicking on your table button. You can select your table grid option to insert the number of columns and rows to insert a table, or you can insert a table using the Insert Table options by selecting the number of columns and rows, and then clicking OK. So Insert, Table, on the table grid, you can select the number of columns and rows to insert, or you can choose the Insert Table option. Select the number of columns and rows, and click OK to insert. You can make any changes to the table by adding table styles, adding and removing any columns and rows that you may not need, and aligning the text using the options that are available on your table tab on your ribbon. You also have the option to right-click into the table and access your table options to include adding header rows, first columns, bandit, columns, or bandit rows. You have the option to delete tables or columns and rows as well, using the options that are available when you right-click. Again, tables are a great way to enhance the look and feel of email communication when composing new messages. An additional graphic that can be helpful in enhancing your email communication is called a loop component. So when you are working in composing a new message and Outlook on your Insert tab, you have the option for Loop Components. These provide you an option to insert various graphics or format text that will enable you to work with others that might be a part of a group or team, and you are able to collaborate and share information using the graphics that you include from the loop components. So if you see here, there is an option to insert a table, and when you select and enter it, it will provide a table design that you can start building and customizing a table. The neat thing about this is you can connect it to a Microsoft Teams account or share this with others that are working with you on a project. You have the ability to build the table together and be able to access what updates or changes you or other team members make. All options are the ability to create bulleted checklist, a number list, paragraphs, task list, voting tables, or additional options are available on the looped components. Again, the process is the same to insert the graphic or item, and it will allow you to work with other team members to be able to update and build the information. These graphics are great tools to help you begin to enhance the communication included in your email messages. Hopefully, these tools can help you to effectively collaborate and work well with others. Stay tuned for the next lesson, while I will show you how to use Stationary. Thanks for watching.
