A diagram Designer must convey certain information about their drawings to the viewer. Adding details for a drawing with callouts can be important when giving attention to detail. Also, showing how your shapes are held together through connectors will help show how one process flows into another process. But what do we do if we need to add a new page? How can you add extra information to a shape? In these lessons, we will learn how to perform all the tasks above and make our drawings more comprehensible and easier to understand.
In this module, we will cover how you can apply Connectors to shapes to help convey the flow of a drawing. The right connectors add the right emphasis to a drawing and help tell the story of the diagram. You will also learn how callouts are similar to connectors and can be used to place details on a particular shape and give notes about what’s most important to know.
This module covers applying connectors to shapes to convey the flow of a drawing, inserting a new page in a drawing, and adding callouts to shapes to place details and notes.
The course includes three lessons: Applying Connectors to Shapes, Inserting a New Page, and Adding a Callout to a Shape.
The course relates to skills including Microsoft Visio, Diagramming Software, Visual Modeling, Visualization, Section Drawings, and Auxiliary View Drawing.
Callouts are similar to connectors, but they are used to place details on a particular shape and give notes about what is most important to know, while connectors help convey the flow of a drawing.
