From there we’ll cover MAC addresses and how they relate to IP addresses via address resolution protocols. You will also learn about how network interface cards function and their role in determining network speed.

You’ll also learn about the device drivers needed to install network interface cards and the differences between generic and vendor-specific driver performance.
