Course Description

This course on Revit Advanced Modeling will explore more of Revit’s advanced modeling tools. Most of your focus in these lessons will be on creating stairs, and the methods you will learn will help you in adding layouts for ramps and custom railings for your stairs and ramps. You will also discover how to create those type of openings that can cut through several floors throughout your building.

You will begin these lessons by learning to layout a straight staircase in your Revit projects. You will further your stair creation skills by learning to design a few different types of spiral staircases. This is followed up by then using the methods learned in stair creation to design ramps in your Revit projects. For all the stairs and ramps you create in these lessons, you will automatically have railings created, and we will discuss how you can control the setup and the display of these railings. Finally, we will explore creating openings in your floors of your Revit projects.

What You'll Learn
