Course Description

In these lessons on Creating Sheets and Plotting in Revit, you will be introduced to sheets and learn how to create sheets as well as how to add views to your sheets. You will also learn how to add schedules and legends to your sheets and how to build a sheet list. Finally, you will learn about printing and plotting sheets.

Through this course, you have created and worked with different types of views, from plans and sections to details, legends, and schedules. Now you will need to organize those views onto sheets so that they can be printed or exported to PDF format. This module will focus on the creation of sheets in Revit first. To create a set of drawings from your model, you will need to create sheets. The sheets you create will include a title block, and you will learn how to modify the title block text and then how to place views onto those sheets. You will also see how placing a model element view on sheets slightly differs from adding schedules and legends on sheets. From there, you will build an index from all your sheets in the form of a sheet list. You will also learn how to modify, sort, and filter that list appearance as necessary. Then, you will finish by discovering how to create a sheet or view set and how to set up your Revit project for successful plotting.
