Hello, my name is Justin, and in these lessons you will learn about using plugins in Figma. You'll learn how to use them for text, imagery, accessibility, and we'll even talk about AI. In this lesson, we'll look at using plugins for text. By the end of the lesson, you'll know how to find and replace text and check spelling and grammar. All right, here's our design that we're working with. We have some text on here, and we're going to use some plugins to find and replace a word. This happens, especially if you have a lot of screens and you just have to change a term or whatever it might be, it can really be a tedious thing to do. So let's try a plugin here. Now, plugins are available up here in the resources button, if I hover right here, you can do shift I as well. And there are many, many things that you can use plugins for. We're just looking at a few, we're scratching the surface here. All right, I'm going to try find and replace, and I'm going to take the, we have a couple of those in here and find and replace, and there you go. That worked really well. And did it do it for multiple, yeah, I did it for every single screen on here. This said all the best notes is all best. So that is something that I think you would find useful. All right, let's try a this, let's try this spelling plugin right here. Some of these you do have to pay for, but maybe have a free version. I'm going to use this one for free and let's see what it says. Suggesting, it's suggesting I change gifts to gift. I'm going to ignore that. It's suggesting I add a period after up. I'm going to ignore that. This should be forget. Let me make that correction good and magical. There's a typo there. Shareable typo there. Okay. So we had a grammar correction with suggesting a period here for sign up and some spelling corrections that worked really well. Again, that's really just scratching the surface of what you can do with plugins and text. Another one I won't get into here right now, but it would be good to be aware of is something called Ditto, which is really helpful for content designers and how content designers can work together with product designers.
