Hello, my name is Jessica Henley. And in these lessons I will show you, camera effects, saving camera presets, fix camera and audio settings. In this lesson I will show you camera effects. Getting started, pick any sample footage of your choice. You can pick the sample footage from the import section. Once you have your clip inside the sequence area, it's now time to explore the effects area. The effects tab I'm going to look for video effects. As I click that down we can see there's a lot of cool options to choose from for video effects. What I want to do is take a look for the camera effects. I want to create it to where there is a mirrored image for this video. To create the mirrored image I'm going to go to distort and take a look at mirror. I can then go ahead and drag and drop the setting on top of the video. Once it's placed on top, take a look in effects control over on the left hand side. Taking a look at reflection center. I can go ahead and just place my mouse over the 640. When I click and drag I can now see the mirrored image is starting to be duplicated over. What I wanna do is just line up the stone so it matches just like that. I like this because there's this archway right here and as you play it's like you're looking into the horizon. To delete the effect, I can just click on the effect itself and hit delete on my keyboard. You can now see that the video is back to normal. Let's take a look at color correction. Under color correction we have brightness and contrast. To also explore this option I'm just going to click and drag it on top. Once it's placed on top you will see that it's now appearing in the source area for the video. We have the tools available such as create lifts, create four-point polygon mask and the free draw tool. Here for brightness. If I collapse this down, we can see the intensity of the brightness by just clicking and dragging it. So this is what it looks like at -100. This is what it looks like at full 100. And for the contrast likewise, I can just go ahead and click that down and drag to the left or drag to the right. So that's how you can change the brightness and the contrast of a video. Lastly, I wanna take a look at generate. Under generate I have lens flare available. Also four color gradient, lightning and ramp. Taking a look at lens flare I can just click and drag and drop this over. Over in effects controls we can see the lens flare settings and the flare has been added to the video. Here for lens flare I have flare center, flare brightness, lens type and blend with original. In the next lesson I will show you saving camera presets. Thanks for watching.
