In this lesson, I will show you how to animate using the Camera Tool. First, I wanna switch back to the scene by clicking on this arrow. And here I'm going to create a new folder, and I'm going hide these objects that I have here. To create a new folder, I just click on Folder, and I will keep it named Folder 1. And here, I'm just going to click and hold down Shift. You hold down Shift with the first one, and then move your mouse to the last one. And as you hold down Shift, it will select all, and you can just place it inside of the folder. You can tell that it's inside the folder because it's indented over. And then I'm just going to go like that and hide those, by clicking the eyeball. Now, what I want to do is talk about assets. We're going to put assets on the screen and then have the camera animate. So here what I want to do is I'm going to look at the static. So I collapsed it by clicking on that little icon next to Animated and click on Static. Here, the characters are not moving. So I don't want them moving right now. So what I'm going to do is, with this, you can pick any of these that you want, and can just look through and see what they have. I'm just going to place this over to the scene, and make sure I have Selection Tool available, and now I have this in my scene. Now what I want to do before animating my camera is create a new layer, and let's just make sure I name. And then I'm going to put grass. Again, to rename layers, you just double tap. Now for the grass, I'm just going to click and pick a color for the fill and switch over to the Rectangle Tool and click and drag. It's gonna cover their feet, but no worries, I will show you how to edit that. So from here, I'm just going to move the grass below the chickens. Next, what I want to do is go ahead and create a sky. So I'll name the sky, and I want this to actually be on the very background. And I'm going to pick a sky color, but I don't want a black outline, so I'm going to turn off the stroke. To turn off the stroke, you click on the Stroke button and change it to no. All right, from here, I can just click and drag and pull down. So here we have a little scene here, and we're going to animate using the camera. Now, to get to the camera, I can click to Edit toolbar, and we can see that the camera is here. The shortcut for camera is the letter C. And again, I can just pull it over. And when you see that line, it's okay to drop. Again, if you accidentally drop it on any other tools, just simply click and hold and it will be presented there. Okay, so now we have a new layer also. We have a camera layer. And when I click on Camera, notice that I have this little icon here that goes all the way over. And when I have the selection tool, it disappears. So even though the camera layer is selected, you can't actually use the camera features unless the camera button is activated. So here I am on frame one, and I also need to extend the chicken line because right now the chickens are only on there for one frame. So on frame 40, I'm just going to right click and insert frame. Notice that the shortcut for Insert Frame is F5. Now going back to frame one, what I want to do is animate this camera. So it's going to start here, then, say, on frame seven, I can always move it later, I want to change it. So what I can do is just right click and insert a key frame, and I can actually move the camera closer to the characters. Also, if you move your mouse here, you can move the camera too like this. So as I move my mouse up, it pushes everything down. Let me zoom out. Another way to zoom out is going here. So you can just decide like how much of the scene you actually want to view. But just so you can get a better idea of what I'm doing, you can see here as I move my camera movement, I can push and pull the characters. So say, if I want to focus over here, I could do that. And again, I could actually move this around like this. So let's see what happens. So it goes like that. It pops into the view. So what I could do now is just right click over this and insert a Classic Tween. And you can see that it pulls in. Now, if I go to another frame and insert a key frame, let's see what this does. This is the rotation button. So I could actually still continue to use my other cursor here and move it. And with the rotation, you can actually flip. So I'll just do that and just pull this up. Now, let me just right click. So this is why I said before that I have a habit of actually clicking on the frame number because normally you'll animate more than one thing on one timeline. So in this case, I'm just going to right click and hold. And from here, I can insert a Classic Tween. Now let me go ahead and click on this button. This is Test Movie. That background is still back there. It's a bit of a chaos moment. So for this folder, what I wanna do right here for this folder is, everything it's hidden here, but what I could do is copy these layers, and I can also move them. So in the library, I'm going to make a new symbol and call this saved. And over here I can, in a new layer, I can move over my object. So I can right click and paste my layers. So here's my folder. And let me go grab it because it pasted the folder, but let me show you how to copy everything else inside. So here, what I'm going to do is I need to move chicken so it's not inside. There we go. And holding down Shift, I can click and copy. Heading back over to saved, I can now paste those inside, and all of these would be here. And I need to just unhide everything. So all of those are still here in the saved. Now it's okay to delete that. Yes, I can delete it. And when I go back to test, I'll have that. Now, if you wanted to slow it down, if you wanna slow down the camera movement, that's really easy. You can just click on the frame and pull it. So now if I go ahead and play it out, and if you want to slow it down even more, how many frames you need, so you would just pull this down and continue to pull them down to see how many frames you would need. Well, I hope you had fun learning how to animate the camera. In the next lesson, I will show you about camera angles and shots.
