Hello, my name is Alyssa, and in these lessons we will go over using Adobe XD's Workspace. Let's begin with what makes Adobe XD such a powerful tool. You can craft prototypes that look and feel like the real thing. Instead of describing what a site or app or whatever else you create could look like, with XD, you can actually demonstrate it. With this software, you can collaborate through the design process, from ideation and wire framing to handing it off to a developer. The six pages you are viewing here were all created in the design tab of Adobe XD. You can see that right up here in this top left-hand corner. In design, you will create design layout elements, add artboards, and import resources from other applications such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. When you have created your design, you can select objects or artboards in your design and create interactions between artboards in the prototype workflow. Let's view these same six pages in the prototype. Okay, they pretty much look the same. I'll just zoom in a little bit more, but I just want you to be able to see. By the way, another pro tip, I'm gonna hold down the space bar and I get this little hand, and that allows me to move all the pages anywhere that I would like them to be. So on a webpage, you're gonna have a variety of links and buttons that will take you to other points within your website, and you can create those here. For demo purposes, I have created links from the homepage to the various other pages shown here. I'm gonna click on one of these read more buttons, and you'll see a bunch of lines appear. Let me go ahead and zoom in a little bit more so you can see. There is sort of a, what I consider like a plug or a port at one end, and then you'll see this arrow and it'll show you, like, in this case, where it's linking to. This represents the interactivity when we share with our collaborators. Gonna zoom back out by pressing command and the minus sign, or would be control and minus in Windows, just so you can see. At any time if you would like whatever you're working on to fit within your window, you can just press command zero, or control zero on Windows, and everything will fit within your screen. The last thing that I wanna show you here is that there is a share button, and what happens here is after this we could create a link that will allow us to have an interactive demo site, and we can send that link to our collaborators, our shareholders, and everybody will be able to view your project.
