We take our ability to see for granted. But our eyes are fragile and need to be protected. Statistics show that eye injuries occur frequently in the workplace. No workplace is exempt from these injuries. This course will show you the different eye injuries you may suffer by not taking the appropriate precautions while at work. You will learn ways you can prevent these injuries from happening.
Eye injuries can include objects in the eyes, cut or scrapes on the eye or eyes that are tired. Everyone, no matter, their job is at risk of suffering from an eye injury. This is especially true in today’s digital world. We are constantly looking at computers, tablets and smart phones. These devices can wear our eyes out and make them tired.
In addition to objects injuring the eyes, radiation can damage the eyes. This radiation can come from the sun. But there are easy steps you can do to prevent this damage occurring. This includes wearing sunglasses when working outdoors.
