Hello, my name is Jessica Henley, and in these lessons you will learn Workspace layouts, essential graphics, bulk text feature, align and transform. And this lesson I will cover Workspace layouts. Let's see what Workspace I have activated. As I click on Workspace, which is located at the upper right hand corner, I can see that editing is activated, because the word is in blue and there's a blue check mark. Notice next to Workspace is quick export, if you're looking to see where it is next to. With this editing workspace, I have my video at the top, my timeline at the bottom, and my project's area, which includes media browser, libraries, info, effects markers, and history. Under the project we can see the sample footage I had imported from the Adobe stock, as well as the sequence. When I go back to Workspace, I can switch to essentials which is new for 2022. Notice how the whole layout changes. I have my video now in the middle. I also have some other tabs at the top, such as controls, lumetry color, where you can change the adjustments, which include faded film, sharpen, vibrance, and saturation. You can also change the tint balance, as well as the intensity. As you scroll down, there's other options, such as the curves, color wheels, and match, and so on. Up at the top for the essentials workspace, we also have essential graphics tab, essential sounds, which include dialogue, music, SFX, and ambience. Under this area, we also find captions, which includes transcribed sequence, create new caption track, and import captions from file. Notice below, in the same panel, there is small medium enlarged for the caption options. Notice that the panels that I discussed before in editing view has now been moved to the top. We now have the project tab, the effects tab, which includes audio transitions and video transitions, such as dissolve, iris and slide. You also have Frame.io, easily share media and centralized review with Frame.io. This is included in your Creative Cloud subscription and you can also sign in from here. In the essential Workspace, we also have the library, where you can explore libraries. You can inspire and speed up your work with ready made libraries right here, and there's a create new library button where you can do that. Let's check out the vertical workspace, which is also new for 2022. Here we can see with the vertical workspace that the video has been pushed to the far right. We also have the same tabs as before, but instead of being on the far right, it is now in the middle. And we also have our other panels as well, and the toolbar is on the left hand side. And we have our timeline on the bottom. It's not stretched out as before, but we do get all of this space here for the vertical. To better show you how that works, I have a sequence for the vertical workspace. So for the vertical workspace, you can see here for this workspace, you can use vertical for a phone layout, or any other layout that requires a vertical layout. This is great because of all this space that you can use for designing and animating on the timeline, you can get a better look at what you're designing for the vertical workspace. Switching back, I can just double tap the sequence that I want to go to, or the video. Here we have other workspaces available. We've already discussed essentials in vertical, but we also have learning, editing, effects, review, and so much more. In the next video, I will discuss essential graphics. Thanks for watching.
