In this course on Adobe Illustrator Beginner (2023), you will begin to explore its basic foundations. You will learn how to create a file, navigate the interface, and set up a custom workspace. At the end of this course, you will explore 3D tools and new features in Adobe Illustrator 2023.
Starting with the user home screen, we will explore basic navigation of the viewports, windows, and toolbars. We’ll create custom workspaces, including customizing the toolbar for better organization. You will learn how to navigate the viewport, including zooming and panning. We'll look at the basic drawing tools, including shapes and fills of basic primitive shapes. Once created, we will manipulate and transform objects using the shape builder tool. You will also learn how to start working with layers, clipping, and opacity masks, and you’ll explore infographics and color management. Finally, we’ll look at some of the new effects in Adobe Illustrator 2023, including the new extrude and bevel tools.
