The mind-body approach centers around the belief that your mind and body are intended to work together for optimal health. You may not have realized that the mind and body are so connected: The way you feel may influence the way you think, and the way you think may affect the way you feel. Your body and mind work together to keep you functioning and thriving. But did you know that by tuning into what your body is telling you, you can begin to understand more about how your body supports you? Even negative effects, like stomach pain or headaches, can signal that we need to make a change in our lives for our health. When we are able to tune into this connection, we can begin to make decisions for our well-being that will enhance our personal and professional lives.
