It is for CDL drivers who operate box trucks and trailers and want to prevent injuries while driving and working around their trucks.
It covers how to protect yourself in the cab, around the body of the truck, and in a loading dock, plus how to safely load and unload your truck and maneuver in a yard while avoiding injury to yourself or others.
You'll learn to maintain correct posture, safely lift heavy objects, park, position, and drive your truck safely, avoid dangerous actions and behaviors, and prevent injuries before they happen.
The course includes Introduction, In the Cab, Working in Your Truck's Body, Positioning at a Loading Dock, Loading and Unloading Your Truck, Maneuvering in a Yard, and Conclusion.
It relates to accident prevention, commercial driving, DOT (Department of Transportation) inspections, transportation safety, truck driving, and the Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
