It is designed for anyone, since sexual assault and rape can happen to anyone, anywhere, and in all contexts including marriage, dating relationships, friendships, child-parent/adult interactions, employer-employee relationships, and interactions with strangers.
You will learn to identify healthy and unhealthy relationships, understand the importance of consent, gain skills to reduce your risk of becoming a victim, and understand your role as a bystander.
Lessons cover an introduction, identifying healthy and unhealthy relationships, the importance of consent, sexual violence statistics on U.S. campuses, support for sexual assault victims, risk reduction and prevention, the responsible bystander's intervention and support, and a conclusion.
The course builds skills in risk prevention, sexual harassment awareness, and understanding social influences.
