The Beginner Kotlin Course, taught by instructor D.L. Powers, introduces a prime foundation to Kotlin programming so you can create and run basic applications, even if you have never used a programming language. It starts with a blueprint of Kotlin and presents a clear picture for anyone new to Kotlin, new to programming, or any who wants to become familiar with this new and growing language.
You will learn the correct use of basic syntax in Kotlin, as well has how to work with statements and loops. You will learn about data types, data structure, and data classes, as well as how to use each one correctly. You will write functions and work with objects. You will learn how to correctly organize your code, so you can create and run simple programs.
This beginner course will teach the unique properties of Kotlin; how to create your development environment; the basics of Kotlin coding; how Kotlin operates as an Object-Oriented language and a Functional Programming language; and you learn will how to evolve your new skills into products that make you and your customers happy.
