If you wish to try a side job or devote time to a passion project without quitting your day job, it is important that you choose the best fit. Even if you want a side job for the sole purpose of earning more money, find something that you are passionate about or that makes you happy. This could be writing, making crafts, playing music, or even an additional project at work<\/a>. If your side job acts as a stress buster, it will only help you juggle both jobs more efficiently and even help you be more productive<\/a>. Also, try choosing something that adds value to your work life. It may either be adding career skills to your current resume or something that will help you build your career in a new field in the future.<\/p>\n

Do not make the mistake of working for your side gig or completing a personal project while at your day job if you want to balance the two well.
