Course Description: In this course, students will learn how to think like an object-oriented programmer as well as how to develop simple Java applications. Students will learn the basics of the Java language and how to utilize tools (such as Integrated Development Environments) to simplify the programming process. Students will also learn proper code formatting and organization that will allow the student to seamlessly integrate with other programmers. This course also touches upon debugging techniques and identifies some common testing methods.
